TRACE

The work embodies the tension between what has been lost and what continues to inhabit the body through memory, leaving behind traces that resist erasure..

Trace, photography, 120x90cm

The body is both the subject and the medium, creating haunting imprints of a presence that has passed, yet still lingers. Developed through a personal journey of grief and loss, Trace examines what remains afterwards. Residues of memory, marks, shadows, and imprints become evidence of both disappearance and emergence at the same time.

In this way, Trace becomes a personal haunting. A physical manifestation of something no longer fully present, yet undeniably felt.

Trace explores the complex relationship between absence and presence, can the two ever be separated?
